New Millennium Builder Awards
Each year, E-Star Colorado assembles a panel of residential building
science experts who select New Millennium Builder Award (NMBA) winners.
The awards are given to builders who demonstrate a clear understanding
of the positive effects of energy-efficient construction on their businesses,
customers, and the state as a whole. Homes selected for awards use a
whole-house, systems-based, performance approach to building energy-efficient
homes. To qualify for an award, a builder must have constructed one
or more ENERGY STAR
qualified homes and utilized innovative construction techniques, incorporated
energy-efficient technologies, and marketed their product based on its
energy-saving benefits.
